KMMSA House System
The KMMSA Guidance Department has implemented a House System to foster a community within the school while providing guidance and support for all students.
The mission of the KMMSA House system is to create a middle school community where students work together to UPLIFT each other as they grow academically and socially during their enrollment at Kingstree Middle Magnet School of the Arts.
The KMMSA House System is comprised of all students in grades 6-8.
Per grade level, the students are assigned to one of the six houses:
The first letter of each house collectively spells UPLIFT.
Students are awarded points in the areas of academics, discipline, school participation, attendance and school-wide SEL activities. At the end of each grading period, the house with the most points receives an incentive of choice.
